In our first year, STEM for Nevada is laying a strong foundation, building partnerships, securing funding, and launching hands-on programs that engage students in real-world STEM experiences. Through MECH Workshops, Orion Sessions, and community events, we are working to remove barriers and spark lasting curiosity, particularly in underserved communities across Southern Nevada. Every lesson, every tool in a student’s hand, and every conversation with a mentor helps us move closer to a future where STEM opportunity and innovation are within reach for all.

Looking ahead, we aim to bring the Launch Lab online within five years, a dedicated innovation space where students can experiment, prototype, and collaborate on ambitious projects with the support of technical professionals and educators. That is only the beginning. Through the growth and management of the STEM for Nevada Endowment Fund we will accelerate our impact, priming the organization for a legacy that lasts.

As our capacity grows, we will align our trajectory to reach to Reno and Elko, ensuring that students from every corner of the state have access to transformative STEM encounters. We’re not just building a program, we’re building a movement, guiding the next generation of Nevada’s problem-solvers, visionaries, and changemakers.
